Growing up, I was always told I had to go to school to get a degree and a “real job.” I did so to please people, but I didn’t love what I did. With lots and lots of prayers, I asked God if it was possible to pursue the burning desire in my heart to do what I love, my dream job. Spoiler alert, I went for it and have never been happier doing a “job” I love.
My style of photography is natural, authentic, movement, & full of emotions. Worried about how to pose? I got you. Feel awkward in front of the camera or with my crazy prompts? I always say, the more awkward, the better! I want you to laugh, interact, dance, run around, but most importantly, have fun. Simply, be yourself and I’ll do the rest.
Growing up, I always had a creative spirit. My dad said it was always difficult to get my attention because I was always daydreaming, lost in thought. I loved art, drawing, making/building things and trying new things. I got my first camera in 2006, a Canon Rebel T1i. I thought it was the best thing ever. I took pictures of anything and everything. Between then and now, I’ve tried many things creatively, but I always gravitated towards photography.
I love to cook & bake (ask me about my red velvet cupcakes). I’m always looking for new places to eat and cooking for others brings me so much joy.
Being a mama is my absolute favorite thing in the world.
We dated for 10 years and got married in 2017. Mind blown.
Definitely my comfort show as well.
... as a respiratory care practitioner and decided to pursue photography in 2019 full-time, coincidentally before the pandemic, and never looked back.
The withdrawals are so real but I keep coming back for more!
So imagine my struggle now that I’m a mother lol. I’m always down to chase sunrises though!
I have hundreds of random lists on my notes app. It’s a little crazy haha
